Successful 1-time removal of nearly 100 intrahepatic and extrahepatic bile duct stones with endoscopic sphincterotomy in a short time
A 35-year-old woman presented with abdominal pain and jaundice. MRCP confirmed the presence of intrahepatic bile duct stones and extrahepatic bile duct full of stones with filling-type gallstones accompanied by cholecystitis (A). ERCP showed dilatated bile ducts with stone-induced filling defects in the common and intrahepatic bile ducts (B).The duodenal papillary orifice was blocked by stones. Endoscopic sphincterotomy was performed with a 0.6-cm incision. A balloon was used to remove the stones one by one from bottom to top (C).
