The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Office of Discovery, Education, and Affiliate Networks (DEAN) ensures our nation’s Veterans have access to innovative health care solutions by promoting medical research initiatives, training health care professions, and developing community partnerships. DEAN drives continuous learning and improvement at VHA—from charting new paths of investigative medical research, to disseminating innovative best practices, to training future health care professionals and helping clinicians sharpen their skills through simulated education.
