Cancer-associated fibroblast-derived fibulin-5 promotes radioresistance in non-small-cell lung cancer

Zhang et al. revealed that cancer-associated fibroblast (CAF)-derived Fibulin-5 promotes radioresistance in non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC). FBLN5 knockdown in CAFs could enhance radiosensitivity by inducing ferroptosis via decreased ACSL4 expression. Their work identified FBLN5 as a biomarker and a therapeutic target for NSCLC radiotherapy.
