Harnessing human iPSC-microglia for CNS-wide delivery of disease-modifying proteins

Chadarevian et al. show that human iPSC-microglia (iMG) can be engineered ex vivo to enable pathology-responsive and CNS-wide delivery of therapeutic proteins. Their findings suggest that iMG could offer a promising new platform technology to deliver biological therapeutics throughout the brain.
