Genetic mutations in prostate cancer can differ significantly based on race, ethnicity

Prostate cancer tumor biology can differ significantly based on whether a patient is Black or white, according to data from a genomic profiling study of more than 5,000 veterans.Black men had higher odds of alterations in immunotherapy targets, whereas white men had a greater likelihood of changes in the AKT/PI3K pathway. However, these differences did not impact OS between the two groups.
